Martedì 3 gennaio siamo tornati a Sant'Angelo in Pontano
On Tuesday 3rd of January we went back to Sant'Angelo in Pontano.
Una persona, che veniva da Roma, ci aveva contattati perché desiderava vedere personalmente la situazione di questo paesino colpito dal terremoto.
One person, coming from Rome, had contacted us because she desired to personally see what the situation is like in this village injured by the earthquake.
Al termine del nostro "giro", il suo commento è stato: "Se non ci vieni di persona, non ti puoi rendere conto di quanto grave sia la situazione".
At the end of our "tour", her comment has been: "If one doesn't come here directly, one cannot realize how deeply bad the situation is".
Molti edifici sono stati "ingabbiati" con tiranti di acciaio nella speranza che siano sufficienti affinché non crollino.
Many buildings have been "encaged" with steel wires hoping they can be enough not to make them collapse.
Prima di partire, abbiamo acquistato altri prodotti dagli artigiani del posto; prodotti che saranno offerti in regalo.
